Who We Are

Sacred Slam is a 501(c)3 non-profit organization that works with individuals, organizations and communities to promote respect for diversity and the peaceful resolution of conflict through the arts and education.

Our name is derived from recognition that to fiercely explore - or slam - misconceptions is a process worthy of veneration or respect - sacred.

We envision a world in which reflection, diversity and cultural expression are recognized as social assets to be nourished and protected. We seek to be a sustainable organization globally recognized as a leader in cultural democracy supported by a committed group of individuals, social change organizations and academic institutions.
